I’ve been building Web sites since 1999. With training in HTML, Frontpage and Dreamweaver, I now focus on building sites on WordPress.
The benefit to WordPress is that it allows clients to easily update their sites on their own after they are built… WITHOUT needing to waste money on a Web designer every time they want to update it. This also makes it really easy to integrates blogs, social media and other SEO (search engine optimization) elements.
I generally charge a flat fee to both develop a site and train clients to manage it after I am done. My fees are very affordable, and I also offer a nonprofit discount for charitable organizations.
